Review: Lunch at Leon

Hello fellow reader and happy first Sunday of December!

Can you believe the year is nearly over? Time is just running so fast! (or is it just my impression?)

Well, let’s not think too much about it and let me share with you my latest foodie discovery here in London! I’ve discovered this HEALTHIEST FAST FOOD EVER that totally stole my heart. It’s called Leon ( you can check their IG page here πŸ˜‰ ), it’s a chain so you can find it in many different places around the city even though is not as popular as other chains.

Talking about their food offers, they have products for any kind of allergies/intolerances/ special diets (yay!) Β but also normal kind of stuff like wraps. I tasted their hummus with potato baked fries (so still healthy!) with a little sprouts and pistachio salad and I was pretty satisfied! My friend had a spicy lamb salad and he was also very happy!

We also tried two of their desserts, the lemon ginger cake and a pistachio donuts (both Gluten Free & Vegan) and they were delicious!

The price is medium-high but it’s understandable, the quality of the products is very good and also the packaging is well-finished.

The general atmosphere and internal design is simple but you can see that the choice of furniture and decorations or match the vision of the company: natural and neat.

So yes, I definitely recommend you to stop by and enjoy a healthy lunch or break there! πŸ™‚

Moving on to the second topic of every Sunday Suggestion Post, the interesting reads I selected for today are winter/Christmas themed due to the month we’re in πŸ˜‰

I loved the “Winter Activities” list from Beafreeblog some of my favourites form the “indoor activities” list are definitely baking and Β DIY Christmas decorations! Maybe that’s also why I loved theΒ Wood Slice Christmas Banner that Laura created, such a simple and lovely idea, perfect to fill an “empty spot” without too many decorations that after a while you couldn’t like anymore. Also, I found the “Easy Christmas Wrapping Idea” post by Nina, very useful and inspiring for this period! Indeed, often we have the perfect presents but then we don’t know how to wrap it and it might kind of ruin the whole “present experience” for the person who we’re giving it to.

By the way, are you struggling with your Christmas presents? Click here, my last post could give you a few suggestions to how overcome this issue! πŸ˜‰

That was all for this Sunday! Hope you’ll have a lovely one and feel free to comment below to let me know which are your happy discoveries of the week! πŸ˜‰

Okay…where was Leon when I was a grad student in the UK πŸ™‚ Thanks for the fun links for Christmas reads. It’s starting to snow here in the states so I’m finally getting into the winter holiday spirit.
